Privacy Policy For Sampledex Producer Notes

Sampledex Producer Notes is designed as a local macOS productivity app for music producers. The app helps users create notes, manage tasks, generate MIDI chord ideas, and export files.

Information We Collect

Sampledex Producer Notes does not collect personal information from users.

The app does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share:

  • Names

  • Email addresses

  • Location data

  • Contacts

  • Photos or media libraries

  • Payment information

  • Health information

  • Usage analytics

  • Advertising identifiers

  • Tracking data

  • Notes, tasks, images, PDFs, or MIDI files created by the user

Local Data Storage

Notes, tasks, editor content, inserted images, app settings, and chord/progression data are stored locally on the user’s Mac. This data remains on the device unless the user chooses to export, share, move, or delete it.

PDF and MIDI exports are created only when the user chooses to export them.

Images And Files

If a user adds images or exports PDFs/MIDI files, those files are handled locally on the user’s Mac. Sampledex Producer Notes does not upload those files to Sampledex or any third-party server.

Internet And Website Links

The app may include a link to sampledex.com. Opening that link may launch a web browser. Any activity on sampledex.com is separate from the app and may be subject to the website’s own privacy practices.

Analytics, Ads, And Tracking

Sampledex Producer Notes does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

Apple App Store

If the app is downloaded through the Mac App Store, Apple may process purchase, download, crash, or account-related information according to Apple’s own policies. Sampledex Producer Notes does not receive your Apple ID password or personal App Store account details.

Data Deletion

Users can delete notes, tasks, exported files, and inserted content from within the app or from their Mac. Uninstalling the app may remove the application, but some local app data may remain in macOS Application Support unless manually deleted.

Children’s Privacy

Sampledex Producer Notes does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes To This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the app’s features or data practices change. Any changes will be reflected by updating the effective date.
