Cutting FM bite. Wide melodic slides. Leads that change character as you play.
Sampledex Edge & Glide brings 30 original Vital leads together for trap,
hip-hop, hyper-trap, and electronic production.
Inspired by the character of FM Razor Lead and Wide Fifth Glide from
Character 100, this focused collection explores metallic attacks, hollow
pulse tones, glassy harmonics, vocal movement, warm glides, and animated
hybrids. Each patch has its own oscillator balance, articulation, and motion,
with four named macros for shaping the sound.
Play a tight hook, hold a note to hear it develop, or overlap notes for a
connected slide. Move the mod wheel to add each patch's expression, then
open Vital's controls when you want to take the sound further.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
• 10 FM Edge leads — sharp, metallic, glassy, and vocal FM tones
• 10 Wide & Glide leads — layered fifths, octaves, rounded slides, and stereo movement
• 10 Hybrid Motion leads — animated combinations of harmonic edge and melodic movement
• Four named macros per preset
• Mod-wheel expression and velocity response
• One complete Vital bank, installation instructions, and a preset guide
